Announcements
Absentee ballots are now available at the Hanson Town Clerk’s office for the State Election being held on Tuesday, November 4th. Any registered voter who is unable to vote in person on Election Day due to absence from town, physical disability or religious belief may obtain an absentee ballot. Voters may absentee vote in person at the Town Clerk’s Office or by mail. Applications for absentee ballots will be accepted at the Town Clerk’s office until noontime, Monday, November 3rd. For more information call the Town Clerk’s office at 781-293-2772.
The Whitman Hanson High School Band will be hosting a Papa Gino’s fundraiser on Thursday,
October 23rd from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Papa Gino’s at 674 Bedford Street, Whitman. Papa Gino’s will donate 20% of the sales from guests who present a flyer which can be obtained at Town Hall and on the Town website at www.hanson-ma.gov.
The Whitman-Hanson Education Foundation will be holding it's first annual Truck or Treat event October 25th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 pm at the Whitman-Hanson Regional High School.~This is a Touch-A-Truck event with a not-so-scary twist. Attendees are encouraged to dress in costumes and to go trick or treating to all of the vehicles.~ There will be pony rides, fire trucks, construction equipment, police vehicles, bucket trucks, cotton candy, a moonwalk, popcorn and so much more!!!~ Cost is $3 per person.~Proceeds from this event will be used to bring speakers and other special events to the Whitman-Hanson Regional High School.~For more information, please visit our website at www.whedfoundation.org.
